Sree Nair - Pashtya

I have gained hands-on clinical exposure through my optometry training and internship, where I developed practical skills in patient history taking, visual acuity assessment, refraction, and basic ocular examinations. I have been actively involved in assisting and performing procedures such as retinoscopy, slit lamp examination, and preliminary eye evaluations under supervision. Through regular patient interactions, I have learned to manage diverse cases, from routine vision correction to patients presenting with ocular discomfort and binocular vision concerns. These experiences have strengthened my clinical reasoning, improved my confidence in handling patients independently, and enhanced my ability to communicate findings in a clear and reassuring manner. I have also been exposed to maintaining clinical records, assisting in diagnostic workflows, and understanding the importance of accuracy and empathy in delivering quality eye care.
